(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a series of robberies that happened overnight on Tuesday, Feb. 6 where shots were fired at one of the robberies.
According to CSPD, on Tuesday, at around 2:20 a.m. officers were called to a robbery with a weapon at a convenience store in the 800 block of North Nevada Avenue near East Dale Street.
Police said the suspects in the robbery were also involved in two other robberies, one in the 4800 block of Barnes Road off of Oro Blanco Drive and the 3200 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway near Meadowland Boulevard.
Officers were told the suspects had threatened the clerks with a weapon and left the area with an undisclosed amount of money. Police said during the third robbery shots were fired by the suspects, however, no injuries were reported.
According to CSPD, the suspects are still at large and the CSPD Robbery Unit is investigating.
