(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Sisters of Benet Hill Monastery are gathering food to help Colorado Springs neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity. Over 73,000 El Paso County residents need food assistance, according to Feeding America, a non-profit concerned with providing food and resources to those in need.
The sisters at Benet Hill are celebrating Catholic Sisters Week, March 8-14, by holding a food drive, and the community is invited to participate. You can take donations to Westside Cares, at 2808 West Colorado Avenue in Colorado Springs, or bring your donations to one of the following “Stuff the Truck” events:
