Statewide outage for Colorado DMV

(COLORADO) — The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) said it is contacting impacted Coloradans who had an appointment on Tuesday, July 9, to reschedule as a technical issue has impacted offices.

DMV said all in-office services are impacted except for written tests and those who complete written tests will have to return within 180 days to complete the driver’s license process without retaking the test.

The DMV also has an outage of the state’s credit card processing system which can impact customers’ ability to make payments at some county offices.

DMV said there is no current timeline for when services will be restored. The DMV said it will provide updates on its social media pages.

The website, myDMV.Colorado.gov is still available for those needing services and MV Express Kiosks are available for renewing vehicle registration.
