Steel City Art Works grand reopening reception

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Steel City Art Works Gallery started 2025 in its new home in the McLaughlin Building and is holding a grand reopening reception to welcome guests to the new location on Friday, Feb. 7.

Steel City Art Works said the new home offers a new vision of art, an enhanced experience for customers, and a stimulating space for artists. The new home also contributes to the revitalization of one of Pueblo’s historical landmarks, the McLaughlin Building.

“We are excited to welcome everyone to our new location to participate in Grand Re-Opening events, guide you around our new gallery layout, and join us as we begin this exciting journey,” said Diana LaMorris, gallery manager of Steel City Art Works. “We’re thrilled by the support we’ve received from our customers, who have enabled us to be a successful and vital part of the community art scene. We think everyone will find our new location provides a vibrant ambiance for current and new customers alike with new, engaging art shows and more unique events. This move reinforces our commitment to the Pueblo community.”

The grand reopening reception will run during Pueblo’s First Friday Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
