DENVER (KDVR) — A wildfire fire was reported burning in Boulder County on Tuesday, forcing evacuations and road closures.
The fire has officially been named the Stone Canyon Fire and began Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood north of Lyons.
Evacuations have been ordered for the fire. This includes many areas north of Lyons, such as the Eagle Ridge neighborhood.
The fire is separate from the Alexander Mountain Fire, which is burning to the north.
Video from SkyFOX showed dark smoke in the area, as well as homes and cars on fire.
