(FALCON, Colo.) — Friday, August 2 was the first day of school for students in District 49. And FOX21 News was there Friday morning as the Tornadoes were welcomed back to Woodmen Hills Elementary in Falcon.

Woodmen Hills is one of 30 schools in the district and Friday was the official start of classes. It was an exciting morning for students and their parents who dropped them off for their first day.

This year’s incoming kindergartners will graduate from high school in 2037.
