(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Loving Living Local is kicking off a brand-new series called Style on Set, where we follow FOX21 team members as they get a wardrobe refresh with help from local slow fashion stylist and advocate Jordyn Peppin of Slow with Jo.
First up is morning anchor Abbie Burke, who opens up about her style struggles–like having a closet full of clothes but “nothing to wear.” Jo walks Abbie through her body type, how to balance volume and structure, and how to use accessories and layering to elevate everyday outfits.
Together, they go through pieces from Abbie’s current wardrobe, talk about what works (and what doesn’t), and build outfits that work both on-air and off.
“I just want to buy with more intention and build around what I already have,” said Abbie. “This helped me see my closet with fresh eyes.”
But this is just the beginning. In the next episode, Abbie takes what she’s learned and heads to Ashley’s Attic, a local secondhand boutique, with a $300 budget to bring her new style to life –and maybe find a few surprise staples along the way.

Follow along all summer long as more members of the FOX21 team get their own style makeovers, and maybe get inspired to try something new in your own closet!
