(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A fundraising event to support the De La Vega Foundation will be happening at the Discovery Canyon Campus on Saturday, July 20 to benefit those on the Autism Spectrum.
According to the De La Vega Foundation, the A Day in the Springs Summer Festival is a multicultural summer block party that will have vendors at an indoor market, live performances, and food trucks.
The festival raises funds to support school-age children on the Spectrum while fostering economic development, engaging youth, and facilitating conversations on neurodiversity, autism awareness, mental health, and cultural diversity.
The event will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Discovery Canyon Campus at 1810 North Gate Boulevard. The first 500 tickets are free, check out A Day in the Springs’s Facebook page for more details.
