(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Pikes Peak regional law enforcement will be holding a torch run on Friday, Aug. 2 at the Rocky Mountain Vibes Stadium to raise money for Special Olympics.

The event will feature members of law enforcement running 5Ks in teams with Special Olympics athletes.

“They inspire us every single day; it’s truly a blessing to work with them and just to help them any way we can,” said El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy, Jillian Erlemeier.

The run begins on Friday at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Vibes game at 6 p.m. The stadium is located at 4385 Tutt Boulevard. Those interested in participating can register online at the link above.
