(RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER, Colo.) — For anyone wondering where Meteorologist Ryan Matoush was during Valentine’s Weekend, he’s been enjoying some well-deserved time off, and for a very special reason.

On Sunday, Feb. 16, Ryan proposed to his girlfriend, Bekah, at Red Rocks Amphitheater surrounded by friends and family. Bekah gave Ryan the “Yes,” and announced the engagement via Instagram captioned “Forever has a nice ring to it.”

While celebrations ensured on Sunday, Ryan and Bekah have been celebrating for a little longer with their first anniversary landing on Feb. 13.

If you are wondering how they celebrated, Ryan and Bekah participated in the new trend of drawing your significant other. Ryan said his “jaw dropped” when he saw his painting, with his fiancee drawing him down to the T, clouds and weather included.

As for Ryan’s painting, he said his strengths were more on the life experience, highlighting Bekah, her two cats, Crested Butte and cows.
