Luis Gonzalez is the team coach. “Tricking is a new sport. Tricking is a hybrid of martial arts and gymnastics,” Gonzalez explained while coaching tricks through the trampoline park.

“You can start from four years old until you’re 18… but I do have some 65-year-olds,” Gonzalez said. “Like Ms. Barb right here.”

Tricking has found more and more popularity in competitions. “Trick Different” is one of those competitions that Gonzales hosts every year. 2026 will mark a decade.

Meanwhile, Collins has been tricking since leaving Tai Kwan Do. “It’s not just flipping. It’s just not just kicking. It’s a culmination of everything… and not only is it just the sport, it’s a community. The community is something special that I’ve never really been a part of.”
