DENVER (KDVR) — The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team is returning to Colorado for a match against the Republic of Ireland this summer.
On Monday, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment said the U.S. Women’s National Team will play the Republic of Ireland on June 26 at 7 p.m. at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.
According to a press release, this will be the first of two meetings between the teams — the second will be on June 29 in Cincinnati. This will also be the first meeting with Ireland since April 2023.
The U.S. has a great track record against Ireland and is hoping to keep the streak going come June. According to a press release, the U.S. has faced Ireland 15 times and has won every game.
“We’re thrilled to have the U.S. Women’s National Team return to Colorado and DICK’S Sporting Goods Park,” said Colorado Rapids President Pádraig Smith. “We’ve been honored to host and support the USWNT over the years, and we’re proud of the impact that Coloradans have on the squad. I am personally excited to welcome my home team of Eire and to another incredible showcase for women’s soccer in our state.”
Dick’s Sporting Goods Park has been home to several historic moments for the U.S. Women’s National Team. On June 1, 2024, U.S. head coach Emma Hayes coached her first USWNT game and first win at the Commerce City park against Korea Republic.
The USWNT currently holds a 2-1 record during the 2025 season. They are ranked first in the FIFA Rankings.
