(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The City of Manitou Springs is informing those living in the city and visitors that construction work is scheduled between July 7 and July 31, which will impact multiple locations in Manitou Springs.
The construction is weather-dependent and will include shoulder closures, partial street and sidewalk closures, and parking restrictions.

Dates: July 7–11
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
Work: Utility access for fiber splicing
Impact: Shoulder closure near the work zone
125 Canon Avenue

Dates: July 7–18
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily
Work: Verification of existing duct structure and installation of 2,234 feet of fiber
Impact: Partial street and sidewalk closures
65 Beckers Lane and adjacent residential streets
Dates: July 11 through approximately July 31 (15 weekdays)
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily
Work: Boring and fiber placement at the following segments:
391 feet along Via San Miguel
148 feet along Via Maria Theresa
244 feet along Via Piedras
180 feet along Via Linda Vista
Impact: Partial street closure, full sidewalk closure, and parking restrictions affecting 20 spaces.
The City said traffic control personnel and signage will be present at each location to ensure safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. Those living in the area and visitors are asked to use caution when traveling near these work zones and to follow all posted detour signs and flagger instructions.
“The City of Manitou Springs appreciates the public’s cooperation and patience as these essential fiber infrastructure improvements are carried out,” writes the City.
