(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Veterans Day is Tuesday, Nov. 11, and Colorado Springs is hosting a number of events this weekend to celebrate those who have served. The Colorado Springs Philharmonic is celebrating with a screening of “Top Gun: Maverick” with music set to the backdrop of the region’s celebrated orchestra.

Nathan Newbrough, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, joined FOX21 Morning News on Friday, Nov. 7, to explain how the show will work.

The first screening is Friday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m., and the second is Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Both shows are at the Pikes Peak Center, and tickets can be purchased on the Colorado Springs Philharmonic website or at the link above.
