(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Vice President Kamala Harris arrived aboard Air Force Two on Wednesday evening, May 29, ahead of her commencement address at the Air Force Academy Class of 2024 graduation ceremony.
VP Harris was announced as the 2024 commencement speaker in April. She arrived in Colorado Springs just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and will speak before the nearly 1,000 graduates of the Air Force Academy on Thursday.

The graduation ceremony is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, and the City of Colorado Springs is warning drivers that there will be heavy traffic and road closures near Falcon Stadium between 5-9 a.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m. as a result of VP Harris’ motorcade.
Following the commencement address and graduation ceremony, the Air Force Thunderbirds will perform a flyover above Falcon stadium, followed by an aerial demonstration.
