(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) said a valve on a large, underground water main in the intersection of Galley Road and Potter Drive needs repair and requires the closure of the intersection.

According to Springs Utilities, the closure will run from Monday, Aug. 4, through Thursday, Aug. 7. The repair is needed to maintain the reliability of nearby water infrastructure. The closure is to ensure the safety of the crews and the public.

Springs Utilities advises drivers to seek alternate routes.
