(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) has issued a shelter-in-place order for Burgess Road in Colorado Springs.
According to a Pikes Peak alert sent at 10:25 a.m., EPSO has issued a shelter-in-place order for a 1/4 mile radius near the 9900 block of Burgess Road, off Greentree Road.
The shelter-in-place has been ordered due to law enforcement activity. According to a sheriff’s office spokesperson, EPSO is assisting Homeland Security.
Individuals are advised to secure their home, stay away from doors and windows, and shelter in place until further notice.
