When will we consistently see 60s and 70s?

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — It’s that time of year when we get a little taste of spring but most Southern Coloradoans know that winter is hardly over.

The question is, when will we see temperatures in the 60s and 70s that last for a consistent period of time?

While most would think it’s in June, we actually see the 60s a couple of months earlier. On average our high temperatures reach the 60s in the middle of April.

Highs in the 70s on average typically come in May, although it is likely to still see snow in that month. So if you are hoping to see warmer temperatures soon, patience is key.
