(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Tuesday, Aug. 13 the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce held its Accolades Business Leader of the Year Awards, honoring women in business with an awards luncheon and gala.
Laura Neumann, owner of LN Consulting was chosen as the Accolades Business Leader of the Year, honoring her for decades of work in the hospitality industry, leadership with the City of Champions project, and her role as a consultant for the Weidner Field and Weidner Apartment homes in downtown Colorado Springs.
Accolades also honored:
Tori Giffin, owner of Buffalo Bicycle Lodge, with the Don Brown Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Julissa Soto, CEO and founder of the Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consultant firm was honored with the Minority Owned Business of the Year.
Alana Lipscomb, executive director of Lipscomb Programming, was the Young Professional of the Year.
Stephen Matich, the service delivery manager for Perfect Cloud Solutions, won the SCWCC Member of the Year Award.
For 30 years, Accolades have honored accomplishments in business. Proceeds from the Accolades Silent Auction support programs at the SCWCC and scholarships for women through the SCWCC Foundation.
