A look at the new Colorado Springs School of Technology

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — D11’s newest school is about to open for the new school year, welcoming an inaugural class this August after they had their groundbreaking back in May.

Colorado Springs School of Technology will be opening its doors to 9th and 10th graders on August 12. The school focuses on subjects in the technology field with four pathways: Aerospace, Cybersecurity, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership.

You can still enroll your child in the Colorado Springs School of Technology on their website.

Along with the four pathways, the students also get education in English, math, science, and social studies, and during their first year, they take intro classes for the four pathways’ subjects. Later on, they’ll get to decide which one they want to pursue.

Extracurricular opportunities are still available to the students as well. Colorado Springs School of Technology doesn’t offer them, but they help connect the students to other schools in the area to whatever they want to do, whether it be sports, theatre, choir, or band.
