Colorado bands to ‘Rock for Relief’ in support of California wildfire victims

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Four Colorado bands are joining together to “Rock for Relief” and support the victims of last month’s devastating wildfires in California. Jason Lee, of the Jason Lee Band, came up with the idea and said he wanted to do something meaningful for those who have been impacted.

The concert will be taking place Saturday, Feb. 15, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. upstairs at Jack Quinn’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs. The concert will be free to attend and there will be a donation bucket placed at the venue with all proceeds going directly to the California Red Cross Disaster Relief fund. Those who are unable to attend but still want to donate can do so at the above link. Jack Quinn’s will also be donating 15% of food and beverage sales during the event.

Jason Lee and his band joined FOX21 Morning News on Tuesday, Feb. 11, to preview the event which will also feature English and Steven, Randy Stephens and the Groove Makers, and Hopefully Soon, all Colorado bands.

Lee said he believes in the power of music to bring people together during times of need. Listen to more of his music on Spotify.
