(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Hooters will be closing its doors after 35 years in Colorado Springs.
The restaurant, known for its wings, opened in 1990 and is located near the Citadel Mall. The last day Hooters will be opened will be Sunday, March 16.
“It’s been one incredible ride since we first opened in 1990—cold beers, hot wings, and even hotter memories with the best fans around! We couldn’t have done it without YOU—our amazing guests and staff who made this place feel like home,” wrote the restaurant via Facebook.
To celebrate the restaurant’s run, Hooters is inviting the community to give the location the ‘sendoff it deserves.’
“We’ve cheered, celebrated, and shared countless good times with this community, and we can’t thank you enough for being part of the journey. Let’s make this final weekend one to remember!” Hooters wrote. “Stop by, raise a glass, and help us give this legendary location the sendoff it deserves.”
The location at 750 Citadel Drive East Ste. 1012 is Hooters’ sole location in the Springs. However, individuals can still visit other Colorado locations in Aurora, Lone Tree, Loveland, and Westminster.
