CSPD: Guns, drugs seized and several arrested after prolific offender investigation in Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Five adults and two minors were arrested after an investigation into prolific offenders in Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), in June, detectives with the Strategic Investigations Unit (SIU) began investigating several suspects who police said were prolific offenders in Colorado Springs.

During the investigation, detectives obtained several search and arrest warrants, and on July 2 and July 3, detectives, with the assistance of several other law enforcement units, served eight residential search warrants in relation to the cases.

According to CSPD, the search warrants resulted in the following seizures: 10 firearms, 1.7 grams of fentanyl, and 7.4 grams of methamphetamine. Detectives also made seven felony arrests, including five adults and two minors; police said they anticipate more arrests as a result of the investigation.

The following suspects were arrested: 18-year-old Gabriel Boe, 19-year-old Jose Rascon Hernandez, 19-year-old William Trujillo, 18-year-old Ramear Jones, and 18-year-old Jordan Woods Neilsen. The names of the minors arrested have not been released.
