(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said on Tuesday, July 16 it is investigating an allegation made against a CSPD officer.

CSPD said it was made aware of allegations against Officer Thomas Polistina who was hired by CSPD in 2020. CSPD said Officer Polistina has not been arrested and the matter is under investigation, which will be followed by any appropriate internal review and internal affairs actions once the criminal investigation is finished, depending on the findings.

Officer Polistina has been placed on administrative leave.
