(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a man was carjacked in the morning hours of Friday, July 26 by a minor.

CSPD said on Friday, at around 9:30 a.m. officers were called to a motor vehicle in progress in the 4700 block of Templeton Park Circle near Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road.

CSPD’s investigation revealed a minor took the victim’s vehicle by force and left the area before police arrived. The victim got only minor injuries and did not seek medical attention. The identity of the minor is known to the victim.
