Fiesta Day at Colorado State Fair honors Hispanic culture

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The community celebrated Fiesta Day at the Colorado State Fair on Sunday, Aug 31, with a parade honoring the Hispanic community’s culture and contributions to the Pueblo area with music, dancing, and colorful floats.

Since 1966, the annual event has showcased beloved cultural traditions, such as Mexican food, traditional decorations, festive clothing, Folklorico dancers, and Mariachi music.

Thousands of people attend to watch the parade and take part in the celebration, including the ballet of horses, and a performance from Los Huracanes del Norte.
