(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) will be raising funds for the care of neglected, homeless, and injured animals on GivingTuesday, a national day of giving.
Dogs like Asoka pictured below, will be helped with any funds that are raised on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Asoka arrived at HSPPR with a case of “puppy strangles”. Asoka’s skin was affected by an autoimmune disease, her face was swollen, red, and covered in scabs. While her siblings were preparing for adoption, Asoka was preparing for months of treatment.
Asoka is now recovering in a foster home. Donations such as the ones given on GivingTuesday help pups like her recover and grow healthily. Proceeds also go toward providing life-saving medical care, food, and support. Fetch Pet Insurance will double every donation made on GivingTuesday up to $30,000.
Donate early now via HSPPR’s Facebook page linked above.
