(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Stratton Meadows on Wednesday, April 16.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers originally responded shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday to the intersection of East Cheyenne Road and Southgate Road off of South Nevada Avenue on a report of a crash involving a truck and a motorcycle.

Members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) and AMR provided medical aid to the motorcycle rider before he was taken to the hospital. Once at the hospital, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead.

The CSPD Major Crash Team responded to investigate the crash.
