(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services is once again inviting visitors to explore Garden of the Gods Park without motor vehicle traffic, with multiple events throughout the summer.
Colorado Springs said on Sunday, April 27, the popular semi-annual event Motorless Morning will restrict all motor vehicle access within the park from 5 a.m. to noon. Visitors will be able to utilize the road on foot, by bike, skateboard, or longboard.
Starting in May, Garden of the Gods Park will host its monthly Early Bird Hike & Bikes from May through September from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Wednesdays. The currently scheduled days are:

July 23
Aug. 27
Sept. 24
Early Bird Hike & Bikes will allow guests to explore the park without vehicles. Skateboards and longboards will not be allowed during Early Bird Hike & Bike.
During both events, park rules and regulations, including cycling speeds and one-way traffic, apply to all visitors. Guests can park at one of three designated locations during the events:
Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center (1805 30th Street)
Garden of the Gods Trading Post (324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs)
Parking Lot 1 at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site (corner of 30th Street and Gateway Road)
