(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) is expected to begin a month-long repair of the parking lot at East Library, which will close sections of the parking lot at intervals during the month.
According to PPLD, beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 3 patrons can expect closures of sections of the parking lot at East Library. The project is expected to take place over five phases in different sections of the parking lot and access road.
PPLD said the library will still be open and services inside the library will be available, however with limited availability to park due to construction zones patrons are encouraged to visit other library locations around Colorado Springs.
Anyone who wants to avoid East Library during the project can have their holds rerouted through the library’s mobile app, online, or by phone at (719) 531-6333.
