(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A familiar face will be coming back to FOX21, joining the anchor desk with Scott Kilbury.

Rachel Saurer, a former multimedia journalist and weekend anchor at FOX21, has spent around a year at our sister station FOX31 in Denver, joining the station as a multimedia journalist in March of 2024.

Saurer graduated from Colorado State University, joining her first station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she spent a couple of years doing political reporting and learning about Wyoming. Saurer then joined the FOX21 News team, where she found a love for covering stories about veterans and her community.

Saurer is expected to return to the anchor desk sometime in April. She is replacing Taylor Bishop, who signed off after ten years at FOX21 to spend more time with her family.
