(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A shelter-in-place has been issued for a neighborhood northeast of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road due to a barricaded suspect.

A Peak Alert was sent out to neighbors just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 in the area of 4800 Harvest Court telling them to stay indoors and secure their homes. There is heavy police activity, and travelers are urged to avoid the area.
