(SPONSORED) — For three years, the Pikes Peak Library District has been uncovering the dark and spooky history of the Pikes Peak Region with its seasonal program Spooky Stacks.
Spooky Stacks is a tour through the Regional History & Genealogy department attached to Penrose Library at Pikes Peak State College, where you learn about murders or tragic deaths from the region’s past.
The tours are taking place on Oct. 27 and 28, starting at 5:30 p.m., and the last tour takes place at 6:30 p.m. Spooky Stacks is registration only, so if you’re interested, you can click here to register.
The staff goes all in for the spooky ambiance. The guides dress up in historical costumes and take guests through the decorated spots along the tour.
All of the stories are real and come from the Pikes Peak Library District’s murder index that catalogs murders that happened in our region.
