Star-Spangled Symphony: Celebrate July 4 with musicians and fireworks at Ford Amphitheater

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Ford Amphitheater is celebrating big on the 4th of July, with its Star-Spangled Symphony and Grand Fireworks show.

On Friday, July 4, gates will open at 5:30 p.m. The show will begin an hour later and feature local rising youth musicians from School of Rock, followed by a live Star-Spangled Symphony performance by Colorado Springs Philharmonic.

“We’re so excited to team up once again with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and to work alongside the awesome crew at Ford Amphitheater on this new initiative.” Said Megan Leatham, President & CEO, Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, “This is such a great addition to our citywide Fourth of July celebrations, and we’re all looking forward to seeing the incredible show they put together.”

The night will close with a bang, with fireworks lighting up the sky at around 9 p.m.

“There’s no better way to celebrate than with our community, under the stars, surrounded by the power of live symphonic sound,” said Nathan Newbrough, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic.

Tickets are on sale starting Thursday, June 5, at 10 a.m. via AXS.com. Ore-sale begins Tuesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. through Wednesday, June 4 at 10 p.m.
